President Trump has approved duties on around $50 billion of Chinese exports in response to the section 301 review of its IP practices. That may include up to 900 products based on an initial list of 1,333 products. (1) New duties could start disrupting industrial supply chains as soon as next week, especially in electricals and electronics where imports in 2017 represented $35 billion of the $46 billion of original products targeted.
