President Erdogan has called for a boycott of American electronics exports as retaliation for the imposition of doubled duties on steel and aluminum by the Trump administration. American exports of electronics and capital goods to Turkey reached $1.3 billion in the 12 months to June 30, but were just 0.3% of total U.S. exports of those products. Shipments were led by telecoms network equipment ($94 million) and servers ($55 million).
