Tampa’s Growth Set To Continue as CMA-CGM, Cosco Shipping Arrive

The Port of Tampa Bay, Fl. has started to receive new container-line services from CMA-CGM and Cosco Shipping which operate together under the Ocean Alliance umbrella. The new services add to an already rapid growth at the port which saw containerized freight volumes rise 33.9% in 2018 compared to 2017. Historically the leading container line using the port has been ZIM Shipping with 56.6% of containerized freight heading into the port.
