Intel plans to shift some of its production of platform controller hubs – which organize data-flow between chips on a circuit board – to Vietnam and away from China. That may be partly down to U.S. tariffs on all Chinese exports of semiconductors that have seen the latter drop by 51.1% year over year in January.
