Zinus faces mattress supply chain choices as second dumping case arrives

The U.S. government has ruled that mattress imports from seven countries, including Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam, have injured U.S. manufacturers. That comes after a previous case against the dumping of Chinese mattresses which appears to have worked, with Chinese mattress imports falling by 99.0% year over year in the first quarter. International sourcing seems to have shifted to the countries listed in the new complaint. Imports from the seven countries surged 1,393% in Q1 and exceeded the prior peak in supplies from China.
